Uptown Waterloo Streetscape Survey (King St improvements from ION tracks to Bridgeport Road)

The Region of Waterloo has recently completed the first phase of the streetscape improvements in Uptown Waterloo on King Street between the ION tracks and Bridgeport Road. These improvements include new bike lanes, wider sidewalks as well as trees, street lights, benches and planters.  Additional improvements are planned in the coming years from Bridgeport Road to University Avenue.  We are conducting this survey to understand what residents and businesses in this community think about the updates so far, what is working well, and what might still need some improvement. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete this survey by Friday, November 30 and let the Region of Waterloo know what you think of the changes.

All responses are confidential and personal information will be removed from responses. Data that is collected in this survey will be considered as part of the planning process for the next stages of the project. Responses will be collected together and reported as averages, themes, or trends. Staff at the Region will have access to the raw data.

The work of this project was a collaborative effort managed by the Region of Waterloo, with support from the City of Waterloo and some financial assistance from the Uptown Waterloo Business Improvement Association (BIA).
